It's Been Awhile...

Well it has been a while since I posted something, so all different things have been going on. Alexa spent her first night away from her Mommy, but everyone did great although her Mimi didn't enjoy getting up at 7:30am with all 3 girls. She also started physical therapy to stretch her neck muscles, and she was such a trooper as 1 hour is a long time for a 4 1/2 month old. Luckily she only needs to go every other week, so it isn't too bad. Alexa is also grabbing things all the time and not letting go. You forget they have such strong grips at this age.

Lauren also celebrated her 3rd birthday for a week, so she really enjoyed that. Next time there is cake and candles, she will probably think that it is for her again. She had so much fun celebrating with her classmates, her neighbors and some of her cousins and aunts, one of her uncles and her Mimi. Lauren has also played so hard that she falls asleep in random ways, like in the middle of eating goldfish and on the floor with Alexa's teether toy in her mouth. Lauren is always doing things that amaze me, whether it is on the computer or walking out our garage door to see our neighbors without our knowledge or saying "you brat" (thanks mom for the book) or so many others things that seem to be forgotten. Then it is always fun to have the pediatrician tell me that I have my hands full with her. Just a non-stop ball of energy. Also every airplane she sees, she says she wants to go to Nana and Papa's house on the airplane. Then she mentions seeing and playing with her best friend, Luke, not that he realizes that he is her best friend.

Kaitlyn is doing great and is such a sweet girl. She lost her 2nd tooth
last weekend, received $1 from the tooth fairy and wanted to give the money to Lauren because Lauren hasn't gotten any money yet. Kaitlyn also had a wonderful time playing with her cousin, Charlotte, the past 2 days. Meeting her new cousin, Henry, wasn't nearly as much fun, but someday he isn't going to know what to do with all of the girls. I hope everyone likes the picture of the 3 girls and the beer behind them (better than having opened bottles in each of their hands).

Well hopefully the upcoming week won't be as busy as the past 2, and it will be easier for me to find time to update the blog.
