Alicia

Alicia came to visit us this past weekend, and the girls were so excited. I think it was also because of the possibility of snow, but nonetheless, they were thrilled. It had started to snow while getting Kaitlyn from the bus stop, so we then picked Alicia up at the train station. That night schools were cancelled for Friday, so an extra day to play. Friday morning the girls went outside with Alicia, but it was around 18 degrees and there wasn't much snow to play with, so they came in after 5 minutes. Our street does have a big hill that the older kids were sliding down, but they weren't interested.

Friday afternoon, Bill and I went down to Buckhead to spend a night away from the girls. So we went shopping and actually got to go in stores and look around instead of fly through them all. We also had drinks and went to the Atlanta Fish Market for a great dinner. It was nice to sleep in as well, especially since Lauren and Alexa had both been in our bed the night before, so I didn't get much sleep then. We got back in time for lunch, and the girls all seemed to have fun with Alicia, but Alexa did keep asking about Ma-ee (her pronunciation or Mommy) and Daddy after waking up from her nap with us gone.

Saturday afternoon, Bill took Kaitlyn and Lauren up to go bowling, but it was full, so they just played arcade games. Alexa took a nap, Alicia studied, so I watched a movie, which never happens. We then dropped Alexa off with Bill at a friend's house, and we went shopping and out to dinner. 2 nights in a row of shopping and dinner for 2, so fun!

Sunday was a long, dull day at home, but always nice. Monday came, and the girls went back to school, and Alicia flew back home. It was a wonderful time together. Alexa even likes and misses her because she was pointing to my slippers today and saying Alicia since she borrowed then this weekend.
