Christmas

Yes another month has flown by without posting. The last month was crazy with the girls home for almost 3 weeks of break, but we did have a great time together. The break started 2 days early for Lauren since she came down with the flu and strep, but it was mild, so she was back to herself in no time. This came after Alexa was diagnosed with the flu, so the rest of us played the waiting game of who was going to get it next. Luckily, no one did, but we didn't do much that next week, so we made sure not to infect others before Christmas.

The girls had a wonderful Christmas and were thrilled with all their presents. Alexa took to her new doll and stroller immediately and that was all she wanted for the next week. She has now branched out to other dolls and is even trying to feed and change the dolls diapers. Lauren just jumped from one gift to the next. Kaitlyn loves playing a new game, Pentago, which is a strategy/Connect 4 type game and is always reading all of her new books. Kaitlyn and Lauren also got some new towels with hoods from Mimi, which they love, but so did Alexa. Alexa screamed and cried when we would put her old towel around her, so we finally had to go to Pottery Barn to get one for her. I got the last white horse in the store, and it was on back order until May, so I was very fortunate to not have to deal with her screaming fits anymore.

Sorry but I can't think of any good stories right now.
