The weather has gotten really nice lately, so the girls have loved playing outside. The only problem is our current house has many cars flying by, and the backyard is very small. So we have been heading to the neighborhood playground a lot lately. They are all pretty happy there, especially since lots of friends have been most of the times we are there. Lately though, we have just been having to deal with a lot of over tiredness on the part of all 3 girls. They have just been wearing themselves out.
We are still hunting for our new house, but we haven't had any luck lately. The 4 houses that we have put bids on are all still on the market. 2 just will not come down to what we want, while the other 2 are now in our price range, but we just aren't sure if they are the 1. I am hoping some more possibilities come on the market, but we shall see. Our lease is up May 10th, with a possibility of extending it month to month, so we would like to find something and close in a month. Wish us luck!

Kaitlyn and Lauren just finished up another gymnastics session. We were going to take a break from it until the fall, but they both decided they wanted to keep doing it. Kaitlyn has also been reading up a storm lately. She loves to sit and read now, especially since I started making her read 2 books before getting on the computer, the Wii or watching a movie. It has helped and now she just reads all the time. Kaitlyn has also started "posing" for all the photos we take. Who knows where this came from, but she loves it. She has also gotten Lauren to copy her sometimes.

Lauren has been a very whiny girl lately. I think the weather has hurt her the worst because she is always whining and crying, and we are hoping it doesn't last. She even took a 2 1/2 hour nap the other day, but decided that she couldn't go to sleep that night, so she was up 2 hours after her bedtime, so it was all wasted. Lauren also loves to play with boys all the time and finds them everywhere. She keeps talking about going to her classmates', Noah and Brian, houses. Then she met a boy at the playground and now we see him everyday picking Kaitlyn up and they are always together and trying to go to each others' houses.

Alexa is still getting into everything and talking all the time. She is always telling me things and thinks that I know what she is saying. Most of the time, I will just give her a snack or drink, and she is happy. Sometimes she is saying hi or bye. It is the other times, when she throws something down, and I have no clue what she is saying. Not fun at this age. She does sit and "read" lots of books, so I guess she likes to do what her sisters do, so that is always good. Alexa also now loves to use her spoon or fork. Not always the cleanest times of the day, but she is learning and loving it, so always fun to watch.
