Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is growing into such an amazing girl. She is getting so old on us that it is scary. She loves school and her favorite subject is math, just like me. She also loves to read and is doing it all the time. Luckily, she has stopped complaining about being bored and starts to read if she has nothing else to do. Kaitlyn is also always writing stories and is so proud of herself. Unfortunately, the last one was about a big sister who doesn't get much attention because the little sister seems to get most of the attention. We try to give each of them a lot of individual attention, but I guess it is never enough! Kaitlyn also likes to ask us things when we are right in the middle of something, whether we are reading books to Lauren or Alexa or making dinner or what not.

Kaitlyn now seems to be adjusting to her new school. She is talking about more people from her class. She does still like to say that no one wants to play with her, but that seems to be because they don't want to do what she wants to do. A lot of the girls seem to play tag alot, and that isn't really Kaitlyn's thing since she is always wearing dresses and not good shoes for tag, and she says she isn't fast enough for tag.

Saturday, Kaitlyn had a birthday party at a horse farm, and she loved it. Initially, she was a little afraid to feed and touch the horses. After she got on a big horse, Louie, and rode him for a good 10 minutes, she was going right up to all the horses and petting them.
