1st Day of School

Today is the 1st day of school for Kaitlyn and Lauren, so we are all excited! Not sure who is more excited though, me or them! For the past week, Lauren has been saying that she is excited, but also nervous. So I really wasn't sure what this morning would bring, but after finally getting her out of bed at 6:15am, she was jumping up and down. Her and Kaitlyn were ready in record time, with no fights on the hair or anything else! So they were actually able to sit and eat a normal breakfast, and then we were waiting to head to the bus stop. We kept asking, " who is going to school?" and Lauren jumps up and lifts her hands in the air shouting "ME!", so it was too cute. Alexa kept saying herself as well and looking for her backpack, but she has 1 more week.

Lauren was so excited to ride the bus. Kaitlyn was happy to see that it is the same bus driver. Kaitlyn has also been telling Lauren all the bus rules. Kaitlyn has been feeling so grown up since she was going to walk Lauren to her class each morning. They are both excited about their teachers, although Kaitlyn's just had a baby, so she has a sub for the next 12 weeks. We are all just so excited for school and to get back into a routine, and hopefully get rid of all the bickering. Happy days are here again!
